Can iPhone automatically organize screenshots?
Your iPhone groups screenshots in one Media Types collection. You still need another workflow if you want categories such as receipts, recipes, travel, work, or reminders.
What Photos does for you
Apple saves screenshots to Photos by default. Open Photos, tap Collections, scroll to Media Types, then tap Screenshots. Apple documents the same path in the iPhone User Guide.
Photos can search for text, people, objects, and places. You can create albums such as Recipes or Work, then add screenshots to them. Apple albums require you to select and file the images you want.
What Visual Intelligence handles
On supported iPhones, Visual Intelligence can inspect onscreen content when you take a screenshot. It can search, summarize text, open a website, or turn an event flyer into a calendar event. This works well when you act during the capture.
A saved backlog needs a different routine. Hundreds of old screenshots may contain receipts, tasks, places, and ideas that you did not process when you took them.

Protect private screenshots
