Organize bill and subscription screenshots on iPhone
A bill screenshot can serve as proof, a payment task, or a renewal warning. Label the purpose before the due date disappears into your camera roll.
Separate records from actions
A paid receipt needs a searchable record. An unpaid invoice needs a reminder. A subscription confirmation may need both: proof of the plan and a reminder before the next charge.
Use Money & Receipts for payment records. Use Tasks & Reminders for anything you still need to pay, cancel, dispute, or review.
Capture the fields you may need
- Merchant or service name.
- Amount and currency.
- Due date, renewal date, or trial end date.
- Billing cycle and plan name.
- Order, invoice, or confirmation number.
- Cancellation or account link.
Check each date against the surrounding text. A purchase date records the past. A due date or renewal date creates a future task.
Create the right reminder
Name the action with the service and result: “Pay Meralco bill,” “Review Canva renewal,” or “Cancel trial before July 28.” Add an early reminder when cancellation or payment needs time to process. Apple Reminders supports notes, links, dates, recurrence, and early alerts.
