How to organize travel screenshots on iPhone
Travel screenshots contain two kinds of information: plans you booked and ideas you may use. Separate them so a restaurant suggestion does not hide a flight time.
Put confirmed plans first
Start with flights, train tickets, hotel bookings, tours, event tickets, and restaurant reservations. Save the date, local time, location, booking number, and relevant link. Add scheduled plans to Calendar after you check the time zone.
Turn travel deadlines into reminders
Check-in windows, visa tasks, final-payment dates, cancellation deadlines, and document renewals need reminders. Name the action with a verb, such as “Check in for Cebu flight” or “Cancel hotel before fee.”
Keep places separate from bookings
Cafes, viewpoints, shops, museums, and neighborhood tips belong in a place list. Save the address, city, map link, and one line about why you chose it. Do not add a calendar event until the idea becomes a plan.
Create a trip-specific view
Use Travel & Places as the main category. Add a destination or trip tag such as “Tokyo October” if you use custom tags. One trip view should surface the bookings, reminders, and places connected to that journey.
Process travel screenshots with Bloop
- Select recent booking and travel screenshots.
- Use Quick Scan for searchable local text or Bloop it for categories and suggested actions.
- Review dates, local times, addresses, links, and confirmation numbers.
- Add firm plans to Calendar, set deadline reminders, and save place ideas as notes or map actions.
Review the trip in two passes
Run the first review after booking. Confirm that each flight, hotel, and ticket has a usable action or note. Run the second review two days before departure. Surface check-in tasks, addresses, and booking references you may need offline.
Place it in the note for the calendar event or travel card. You should not need to search Photos while standing at a check-in desk.
Clean up after the trip
Delete expired boarding passes, temporary maps, and status screens after you no longer need them. Keep receipts required for reimbursement and notes you expect to use again. Your travel photos can remain separate from the temporary screenshots that helped the trip run.
